Crusador:  Robert, tell our readers why after years in the making you are so excited about the release of Sovereign Silver Homeopathic First Aid Gel?

Crusador:  What are some of the conditions you can use the silver gel for?

Anything for which you think of First Aid and more. I just utilized it for my son who had an infection at the cuticle of the nail bed on his thumb. Rather than suffocating it in petrochemicals, I covered a sterile gauze with the silver gel and wrapped it up. By the next morning, the swelling had greatly reduced and his pain had gone away. If you have kids, it's fantastic to have a sting-free option for them when they do the things that kids do. With my youngest child, it has provided rapid relief for diaper rash as well.

One of the other major uses for silver is in burn care. For the mild burns that happen occasionally around the house (or even a sunburn), the gel has a very rapid action in reducing the burning, redness and swelling so typical of minor burns.

It really has quite a broad spectrum of uses. If it burns, blisters, stings or swells, this gel should be at the ready.

Crusador:  What is the difference between the silver gel and the other versions of Sovereign Silver?

Sovereign Silver is manufactured and sold as a dietary mineral supplement for a wide variety of immune support issues. It is a true breakthrough in hydrosol technology that has allowed the release of only the active state of silver in pharmaceutical grade purified water.

While there may be some measurable suppression of symptoms with conventional care, it often comes at a high price (i.e. side effects). In first aid care, I look to promote healing of the body, not add to the toxic burden of already stressed local tissues. What good is inflammation reduction when you add synthetics that actually add to inflammation?

In regards to more natural, botanical options, it comes down to broad spectrum and ease of use. There is no other substance that I have worked with that has such a myriad of applications that also comes in such a simple gel form. It has no odor, does not stain, does not sting, contains no synthetic preservatives and promotes rapid healing in so many instances.

Crusador: What kind of success have you personally seen with the silver gel?

In addition to what I have already mentioned with my kids, a friend of mine used it after a breast biopsy on the site of incision and got remarkably fast recovery. I have used it on cellulitis with great success as well. Bug bites and mosquito bites respond very quickly as well. Razor burn and various cuts and scrapes. With kids, there is hardly a day when my wife doesn't pull it out of her purse or the cabinet for something. Just remember to leave on a thin to thick layer and let it dry slowly. Reapply as needed
thereafter.

Crusador:  What attributes does this topical product have that would make it the "Go To" item?

Besides being one of the simplest first aid tools I have ever come across, there is nothing that I find that works faster than silver in relieving the topical symptoms from minor infection, inflammation and injury.

Crusador:  Is silver gel safe to use with children?

My kids sure seem to think so. They've been raised on homeopathy, including this highly active form of silver. In over 200 years of use, there has never been an injury attributed to a homeopathic medicine.

Crusador:  What sort of topical challenges is the consumer facing today that would make the use of this product so beneficial?

The environmental degradation with which we all live is impacting on our health whether we realize it or not. There are strange new ailments being discovered everyday that baffle medical authorities. I believe that this is in part due to our misplaced trust in the petrochemical industry to provide solutions to the problems that their other products actually cause by poisoning our food, water and air.  People who still use toxic "drug store" medicines are only adding to the stress on the cells of their body each time they innocently rely on synthetic poisons instead of natural substances for health maintenance and recovery. This is true even for the times that we have minor injuries to the dermal layers protecting us from the harsh external environment.

Man has been given the freedom to cause tremendous damage to the earth and ourselves. Will we turn back to the healing substances of the natural world in time to reverse the damage caused by man's arrogance? I believe that silver plays a most important role in the reversal of that damage. Its broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties and promotion of healthy tissue regeneration make it an ideal safe and natural tool for restoration of healthy integrity.

Crusador:  Why do burn centers use silver in the care of their patients?

Simply because silver has two of the properties most critical to supporting the body's recovery from the traumatic injury caused by burns. In burns, skin tissue is damaged and immediately needs to begin the repair process to restore integrity to dermal layers in order to prevent pathogenic microbial growth (infection). Silver stimulates de-differentiation and re-differentiation of stem cells wherever there is tissue damage from injury, inflammation or infection as long as you can deliver it there. Silver is also unique in that no bacteria or virus (and most fungus) can withstand its direct presence. This makes it nature's ideal tool for burn care.

Crusador:  Can I use the gel on my pets?

Although it is not labeled for veterinary use, homeopathy is used for animals worldwide, especially within the more holistic circles of the veterinarian community.

Crusador:  Athlete's foot is one of the most difficult things to get rid of, will I see results with this gel?

It's difficult because fungal infections can be more stubborn than viral and bacterial infections. You will see relief of the itching, redness and swelling within a relatively short time, but overcoming a fungal infection varies from person to person. There are a lot of dietary considerations as well as concern for mercury toxicity when fungal infections remain long term.

Crusador:  Would the silver gel be effective in warding off sexually  transmitted diseases and help control or minimize the time frame of herpes outbreaks?

I do not have experience with the prevention aspect of your question in regards to STD's. However, homeopathy, since the time of Dr. Hahnnemann, has addressed the issues of sexually transmitted diseases. While the allopathic doctors were poisoning their patients with mercury, homeopaths were utilizing non-toxic medicines successfully. Silver should at least reduce severity and duration of such outbreaks due to its anti-viral properties.
